Editing

Many clients have English content they wish to “brush up”.

I started helping friends brush up their papers in university.
But my first break in the translation industry was as an in-house editor: At Keio University, Boston Consulting Group, and Dynaword Inc.

I have edited an extensive range of material translated into, or written in, English: from copy, signage, emails, reports, and presentations, through to textbooks.

Most of my editing work is covered by NDA, but I am proud to have edited a guide to tea ceremony: 外国人に茶道を伝える英会話例文集 Explaining Tea Ceremony Through English Conversation, by Kinuko Takahashi (高橋絹子) and Ryuko Shinzaki (新崎隆子) (2018, Tankosha 淡交社).
